One of the most beautiful beaches in Ischia is that of Citara, in the municipality of Forio. Bordered by the promontory of Punta Imperatore, the bay is characterised by a stretch of free beach and stretches of beach with bathing establishments.

The beach is sandy and also the location of the famous Poseidon Gardens, the largest and one of the most famous thermal parks in Europe.
